Susie Plascencia is the co-founder of Mota Glass and a former brand partner of Humo, a cannabis flower brand. The Latina entrepreneur details how she started her brands with a simple mission: Elevate people of color's voices and create more opportunities in the cannabis business for BIWOC. She wants to pave the way for more Latinos to enter the cannabis industry in the hopes of also breaking the stigmas around the plant in her community so that people of color are not left behind as this billion-dollar industry expands and goes mainstream.
