Whitney Beatty is a mom and the creator of the Apothecarry case, a sleek stash box for the cannabis consumer who desires discretion and luxury. She’s now working on her biggest undertaking yet — becoming a licensed dispensary owner in Los Angeles. As a Black woman and social equity applicant, she’s aware of the significance Josephine & Billie’s will have for the Black community, who she aims to serve. BIPOC communities were the most devastated by the war on drugs and in the legal cannabis market they’re the most underserved. Whitney wants to change that with her dispensary, which is slated to open this year.
