Blunt Blowin' Mama chats with Julia Jacobson the Cofounder, and President of Aster Farms, a cannabis company that focuses on sustainability as well as cultivating high quality cannabis. Julia and her husband Sam Ludwig were inspired to start Aster Farms after spending some time with Sam's grandparents who owned and operated a successful grow for many years. They had both been spending time working and developing brands for other businesses back in New York, but wanted to flex their skills on their own initiatives. Julia has a business development & entrepreneurial background, while her husband has more of a creative and operational background. They realized they could fill a need in the industry using their talents and started to tackle building their own brand and business. Running a business in general can be complicated and requires a ton of dedication and resourcefulness, the added layer of the business being in the weed industry can leave a lot of room for mistakes to be made.
